
Avid outdoorsman Reid Smith-Vaniz keen to enjoy all manner of sport available in the Highlands
From his early weeks at Canton High School Reid was looking for a way to get into transportation. We'll never know what called him so loudly as to propel him to his pentultimate position as First Chief Wire and Mechanical Engineer for the Dornoch Gondola Project, but whatever it was we're grateful.
After transfering to the Canton Public Alternative School to focus more fully on his mechanical aptitudes, Reid continued his growth in the transportation field with every increasing responsibilites at:

In addition to brining his extensive resume in alternative transportation initiatives, Reid his an avid outdoorsman and keen to enjoy all manner of sport available in the Highlands. In fact it was his interest in the outdoor lifestyle he was introduced to in the 2018 joint initiative to promote toursim and economic development with the Highland Development Institute and Juan Vizadik Swimwear
\r\nthat alterted him to the First Chief Wire and Mechanical Engineer position that was open. Upon recieving his inquirry, the leadership of Dornoch Gondola extended an immediate offer.
